Change is Inevitable. Struggle is Optional.
Personal Statement
I believe every person has the capacity to evolve, live well, do work that inspires them and achieve the success and relationships they desire. Working with a coach is a catalyst to propel us beyond our stuck places to greater self-awareness, personal and professional development, inner peace, motivation, confidence, and achievement.

The Power of Coaching
In therapy and counselling, the assumption is that ‘someone is broken and needs to be fixed’ and much time is spent delving into the past to re-hash old issues. Coaching starts where people are at today and has a future orientation. Quickly, we establish goals to be achieved, the barriers that could prevent goal achievement and a realistic plan and timeline to accomplish those goals.
Coaches assume that people are not broken but are instead creative, resourceful, and whole and are the experts on their own life. With the help of a coach, people can identify clear achievable goals, harness their strengths, and innate resilience to move forward in their lives. Using a variety of frameworks to shift thinking and disrupt mindsets, this action-oriented approach not only makes people feel positive about themselves and inspired to make productive change but also benefits employers by having healthier, happier, more focused, and goal-oriented employees.
Approach
I am a respectful thinking partner who brings authenticity, integrity, and passion to client interactions that, in turn, enable client transformation. Whether it is a new leader trying to find their voice, transitioning from a co-worker to a leadership presence, understanding how to move forward and be noticed in a big system, purposely cultivating a personal brand or reputation or seeking new opportunities for growth and movement in a career, coaching benefits not only individuals but organizations in boosting their knowledge assets and organizational effectiveness.
If there are struggles in one’s personal life, the stress and weight of these struggles will inevitably negatively impact one’s professional life. We are, after all, human beings first. I have learnings from my own personal and professional experiences with life challenges (including divorce, single parenthood, mental health, learning disabilities, addictions and substance misuse, cancer, elderly parent care, disability management, life transitions, loss and grief), that often when addressed through coaching provides the clarity required to move forward both personally and professionally. I walk kindly alongside clients providing support, empathy, and momentum so clients can achieve a unique path to meaning, peace, growth and change within their own life journeys.
How I Work with Clients
A coaching engagement with me consists of a pre-determined number of 1:1 sessions (up to 90 minutes each) via phone, Skype, Zoom or in person (when safe to do so). These sessions are supplemented with relevant readings, reflective exercises, videos, journaling, and meditations. Each session is followed by homework and practical work to continue moving the client towards their chosen goals. Clients can also reach me between sessions by e-mail, phone, or text.
